Basic Blackjack Rules

Blackjack, formerly Black Jack and Vingt-Un, is the first American member of an international network of blackjack gambling games known as Twenty-One, whose derivatives comprise the European game of Vingt-et-Un and the British game named Black Jack. From the original version of the game, cards and jack are coloured black and red, with six suit cards for the base game. The first dealer dealt the cards face down, left-to-right. Following the first deal, the next trader came in and dealt the cards from the right to the left, followed by the rest of the deck to the left. After the trader was done dealing, the second trader would take his turn and deal the cards, alternating decks. The last card dealt was known as the Jackpot, and it was this way that the match progressed.

Blackjack is a card game where the objective is to beat the dealer. There are two different types of blackjack, the progressive and the non Progressive. This means that while a player has an ace in his or deck, he may choose to eliminate the genius before betting, or vice versa. But when playing online blackjack, players may replace an ace with another card. Players are allowed to do this up to three occasions, at which point the card must be turned over.
