surfing

The surf etiquette is a suitable code of behavior intended to keep everyone safe and happy in the sport. It is important to memorize and respect the following rules to avoid total chaos. Stick by these unwritten rules to help yourself and others else from trouble.

Here are the Principles of the surf etiquette:

Inch. Right-of-way

The surfer closest to the summit of the wave gets the right of way. Also the surfer furthest out or first to his feet gets the right to be on the wave. In every one of these cases other surfers might need to allow the tide pass. Learn these'rules' and behave accordingly.

2. DO NOT Dropin

Dropping in is the act of stealing someone's wave described at point . By doing this you will create a dangerous situation for you personally and another surfers. Collision can occur, bones and boards may break. It's a poor idea and everyone else is going to likely be annoyed.

3. PADDLING RULES

Do not paddle straight to the lineup at which the waves are breaking up and people are currently surfing . It's safer and wiser to paddle through a station where there are less chances of a runin. If you see a surfer coming towards you, gauge his direction and paddle the other way.

4. DO NOT DITCH BOARD

Always maintain contact and control with your surfboard. If you find a wall of white water coming in your direction personally, do not ditch your board as it might hit someone . Learn how to duckdive.

5. DO NOT SNAKE

Paddling around anyone to add priority on the wave is called snaking. This can be quite annoying and should done repeatedly a big no-no.

6. SHARE WAVES

Longboarders, kayakers, standup paddlers and much more experienced surfers are able to capture waves much sooner and easier leaving little for other consumers. It does not hurt to leave 1 tide for the shortboarders inside. To share is to care!

7. RESPECT THE newquay surf lessons

8. RESPECT LOCALS

9. HELP OTHER SURFERS

Look out for one another and consistently help a surfer in some trouble. surfing in Newquay might save someone's life.

10. BE PATIENT AND HAVE FUN

Wait for the turn to receive a wave. Finally it will come. Be friendly and also have pleasure.

1-1. IF YOU Screw up: APOLOGIZE

It is perhaps not the ending of the planet in the event you accidentally wreck one of these rules. Apologize and smile. They'll forgive the very first moment.
