"Quincy Massachusetts Car Oil Changer is America's local oil change garage." Getting started as a muffler repair place we've broadened right into a full service automotive repair center that also performs basic vehicle maintenance services from oil changes to engine tune-ups to brake repairs to tires and also car sound system tune-ups. Every year we service tens of thousands of oil changes, radiator tune-ups, transmission repairs and brake repairs. "We surrender to your community," says Jerry.

The owner/ Operator is 52 years old and lives on a quiet street in a comfortable house. He purchased his car many years ago and just lately had it repaired. All seemed fine for some time. The other day he got a call from his mechanic who was going to inspect his engine. He said he heard noises and heard fluid leak. Upon examination of the engine he found that he had a complete oil change.

When he called us to see what was wrong, he told us he had to visit the dealership to achieve the problem fixed. Before he could leave we oiled his engine over again. He was very thankful that people were so prompt along with his oil change. Now, each and every time he gets into the automobile he oiled it each morning and again before he would go to bed.

During our last visit, just before retiring at night, he asked if we minded changing the oil. I told him no, that is clearly a job for a licensed mechanic. He then asked why. I told him that changing the oil is something we do each time we take our car out and it's area of the regular maintenance.

He continued, "Well, I must have changed it every three hundred thousand miles or I wouldn't have the ability to tell you. I have to think it must be due to oil. There's a little bit of hair oil left on occasionally. The oil cleans everything." I told him to go on it easy and let us do the oil change.

After we changed his oil, he looked at me like I had grown two heads. He rubbed his head and rubbed mine. "Now," he said, "you are going to be driving me around in my own new Cadillac!" I told him that wasn't necessary since i have bought my own car five years ago and it was done by a mechanic.

Every now and then I really do get questions from individuals who want to know when I'll do an oil change. Well, this will depend on where your vehicle engine is. I don't take action where the oil is too dirty or it's greasy. I just check it once a week. I usually check it before I go to work so I could be at my job the very next day instead of having to go manage it.

I tell everyone to improve their oil every four thousand miles or every twelve thousand miles if they have a diesel engine. I also tell everyone to put anti-lock brakes on their car. This won't happen with my car. I'm allergic to the rubber brake fluid and it really wears me out. Hopefully this article has helped one to decide if changing your oil is a must or if you should wait until you've changed it regularly.

If you're concerned about running out of oil you shouldn't be. Most cars come with an oil filter that stores the oil in the engine. The oil change will just remove this and allow more to flow freely. Because of this , you shouldn't wait for an oil change if you don't have an oil change basket or an oil pan with the oil filter inside it.

Lots of older cars don't need an oil changer. Modern Quincy cars do though and it's probably smart to change your oil immediately. I know I always feel better knowing that my engine is properly maintained. Even when you think your vehicle only needs oil, it certainly is a good idea to change it out.

Now you may be saying, "I don't have enough money for an oil change." Well, that's true but you should also pay attention to just how much you drive. If you drive a lot, it might be worth it to cover an extravagance oil change kit. If you only get someone to change your oil once every three thousand miles or so, it probably isn't that expensive of a deal. In fact, a few dollars at the pump is usually a lot more than what you'll find yourself paying at an auto part store.
