"Quincy MA Car Oil Changer is America's local oil change garage." Starting out as a muffler repair place we've broadened into a full service automotive repair center that also performs basic vehicle maintenance services from oil changes to engine tune-ups to brake repairs to tires and also car sound system tune-ups. Every year we service tens of thousands of oil changes, radiator tune-ups, transmission repairs and brake repairs. "We surrender to our community," says Jerry.

The owner/ Operator is 52 years old and lives on a quiet street in a cushty house. He purchased his car many years ago and just lately had it repaired. All seemed fine for some time. The other day he got a call from his mechanic who was simply likely to inspect his engine. He said he heard noises and heard fluid leak. Upon examination of the engine he discovered that he had a complete oil change.

When he called us to see what was wrong, he told us he had to visit the dealership to find the problem fixed. Before he could leave we oiled his engine once more. He was very thankful that we were so prompt with his oil change. Now, each time he gets into the car he oiled it in the morning and again before he would go to bed.

During our last visit, right before retiring during the night, he asked if we minded changing the oil. I told him no, that's a job for an authorized mechanic. Then asked why. I told him that changing the oil is something we do each time we take our car out and it's portion of the regular maintenance.

He continued, "Well, I have to have changed it every 3 hundred thousand miles or I wouldn't be able to tell you. I have to think it must be due to oil. There's a little bit of hair oil left on here and there. The oil cleans everything." I told him to take it easy and why don't we do the oil change.

Directly after we changed his oil, he viewed me like I had grown two heads. He rubbed his head and rubbed mine. "Now," he said, "you're going to be driving me around in my own new Cadillac!" I told him that wasn't necessary since i have bought my own car five years ago and it was done by a mechanic.

Every now and then I do get questions from people who want to know when I'm going to do an oil change. Well, this will depend on where your car engine is. I don't take action where the oil is too dirty or it's greasy. I simply check it once weekly. I usually check it before I go to work so I could be at my job the next day instead of needing to go manage it.

I tell everyone to improve their oil every four thousand miles or every twelve thousand miles should they have a diesel engine. I also tell everyone to place anti-lock brakes on the car. This won't happen with my car. I'm allergic to the rubber brake fluid and it really wears me out. Hopefully this article has helped one to decide if changing your oil is crucial or should you wait until you've changed it regularly.

If you're worried about running out of oil don't be. Most cars include an oil filter that stores the oil in the engine. The oil change will just remove this and allow more to flow freely. That is why you shouldn't wait for an oil change unless you have an oil change basket or an oil pan with the oil filter inside it.

A lot of older cars don't need an oil changer. Modern Quincy cars do though and it's probably smart to change your oil as soon as possible. I know I always feel better realizing that my engine is properly maintained. In case you think your vehicle only needs oil, it certainly is a good idea to change it.

Now you might be saying, "I don't have enough money for an oil change." Well, that's true but you also need to pay attention to just how much you drive. In the event that you drive a lot, it might be worth it to cover a luxury oil change kit. In the event that you only get you to definitely change your oil once every three thousand miles roughly, it probably isn't that expensive of a deal. Actually, a few dollars at the pump is usually a lot more than what you'll end up paying at a car part store.
