Oil Change Quincy MA

"Quincy MA Car Oil Changer is America's local oil change garage." Starting out as a muffler repair place we've broadened right into a full service automotive repair center that also performs basic vehicle maintenance services from oil changes to engine tune-ups to brake repairs to tires and even car sound system tune-ups. Every year we service thousands of oil changes, radiator tune-ups, transmission repairs and brake repairs. "We give back to your community," says Jerry.

The owner/ Operator is 52 years old and lives on a quiet street in a cushty house. He purchased his car many years ago and just lately had it repaired. All seemed fine for a while. Then one day he got a call from his mechanic who was simply likely to inspect his engine. He said that he heard noises and heard fluid leak. Upon study of the engine he discovered that he had a complete oil change.

When he called us to see what was wrong, he told us he had to go to the dealership to achieve the problem fixed. Before he could leave we oiled his engine once more. He was very thankful that people were so prompt with his oil change. Now, every time he gets into the automobile he oiled it each morning and again before he would go to bed.

During our last visit, right before retiring at night, he asked if we minded changing the oil. I told him no, that's a job for a licensed mechanic. Then asked why. I told him that changing the oil is something we do each and every time we take our car out and it's really part of the regular maintenance.

He continued, "Well, I have to have changed it every three hundred thousand miles or I wouldn't manage to tell you. I must think it must be because of the oil. There's a little bit of hair oil left on here and there. The oil cleans everything." I told him to go on it easy and why don't we do the oil change.

After we changed his oil, he viewed me like I had grown two heads. He rubbed his head and then rubbed mine. "Now," he said, "you are going to be driving me around in my own new Cadillac!" I told him that wasn't necessary since I bought my very own car five years ago and it was done by a mechanic.

Every now and then I really do get questions from individuals who want to know when I'll do an oil change. Well, it depends on where your vehicle engine is. I don't do it where in fact the oil is too dirty or it's greasy. I just check it once a week. I check it before I go to work so I can be at my job the next day instead of needing to go take care of it.

I tell everyone to improve their oil every four thousand miles or every twelve thousand miles if they have a diesel engine. I also tell everyone to place anti-lock brakes on their car. This won't happen with my car. I'm allergic to the rubber brake fluid and it really wears me out. Hopefully this article has helped you to decide if changing your oil is a must or should you wait until you've changed it regularly.

If you're concerned about running out of oil don't be. Most cars come with an oil filter that stores the oil in the engine. The oil change will just remove this and invite more to flow freely. Because of this , you shouldn't await an oil change unless you have an oil change basket or an oil pan with the oil filter inside it.

Many older cars don't need an oil changer. Most modern Quincy Massachusetts cars do though and it's really probably a good idea to change your oil as quickly as possible. I know I always feel much better understanding that my engine is properly maintained. Even when you think your car only needs oil, it certainly is a good idea to change it.

Now you may be saying, "I don't have enough money for an oil change." Well, that is true but you also need to pay attention to how much you drive. In the event that you drive a lot, it might be worth it to cover an extravagance oil change kit. In the event that you only get someone to change your oil once every three thousand miles or so, it probably isn't that expensive of a deal. Actually, a few dollars at the pump is usually much more than what you'll end up paying at a car part store.
