Close-by on the river bank is the old fishing town of Esposende where you can take a leisurely walk and discover the quaint town squares and historical old structures.

The best way to explore the Costa Verde is by cars and truck. The fantastic surroundings is both tranquil and lovely with lovely hillside towns, castles and churches just waiting to be checked out. Another method to check out the surrounding countryside is by taking a directed trip on bike or horse back. A trip to the volcanic Arcuentu Mountain, where wild cats and deer stroll, will offer you incredible views from its summit and terrific photographic chances.
