Brickwork and ladder- The brickwork pattern is arranged in the same way that bricks are stacked. Each woodblock straddles two blocks, directly above and below. This creates a pattern of short lines that regularly intersects perpendicular lines.

Parquet flooring is available in both solid wood, as well as engineered wood. If you opt for engineered wood, always make sure that the wood blocks are constructed using multiple layers of ply, rather than thick blocks.
