Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and Plastic Outdoor Chairs Now that the weather condition is starting to turn nice around here, our attention and time is invested more outdoors. We just recently hauled out our table, chairs and pool furniture from our winter season storage shed. We have several various types of chairs and amongst them are some old Adirondack ones.
They seem to last for about a couple of seasons and then they fade and break down and quickly look horrible. Last summer, I was contemplating whether to keep them another season or throw them out with our community recycling program. I chose to chalk paint among them and see if that might restore them.
It appears that the paint remained on the chair and miraculously it also didn't fade. I was able to touch up some spots with no color modifications. So, this spring I painted the other chair and now we have two lovely seats that are now poolside. Hooray for More Discussion Posted Here .
All summertime, the 2 chairs sat side by side one green and old and the other a stunning dark linen color. My household knows that I tend to take a while to finish my jobs! Oh well, better late than never ever! For this job, I used Annie Sloan's French Linen Chalk Paint.
