This was one of my personal worst business trip. I was invited to join the team of my colleagues. We were headed south to meet one of the most powerful oil tycoons in the Middle East region. I was the one who was the most involved in the process and was therefore given one of the phases. It was my opportunity to demonstrate to my manager that I am ready for the big time and ready to play games with the big girls. Although it might seem offensive, I was trying to say that I was speaking to adults or business women.
It was great. I was informed of the exact time and location of the work that was mine. This was because I was the one responsible for onsite digital security in the panic room , which was run by the local insanely wealthy businessman. Since I do not want anyone to be identified in my writing assignments, I'm not going to identify or name any characters in this story. The presentation was designed to simulate a real-life sequence of events that could lead the businessman to his panic zone with close family members and a small army. I originally intended to demonstrate the demonstration, and also to describe how one could deal with these major forces.
We've all entered the dark room deep underground. It was kept dark in order to conceal the incredibly large number of weapons lining the walls. This was quite an unusual scenario. We'll get through this. I am now setting up the powerpoint portion of the presentation. Is that it? is there an Internet? Do you believe it? Lockdown has already begun therefore there is no way to escape or access the email with your presentation. I am not the first to try this. I was able to convert Youtube to MP3 online last night. mp3 youtube I saved the audio from the video so I could concentrate on my speech and not simply reading it off of the paper. Additionally I downloaded the presentation in mp4 format. This was an accident that I was searching for a better audio format. Yet I'm here in need of the presentation and it's already in my laptop, waiting for me to play.
I was very fortunate. Because of circumstances that were unforeseeable, Internet access isn't an alternative, I was able to save the presentation and resume it using video and audio coming directly from me. This is because I was able to remember the majority of it. It was a short 3 minute speech was able to convey layers of confidence and security which is why we've ended up signing 47 new clients of greater caliber, that bring it contracts that amount to hundreds of thousands. We intend to continue to work with them for the foreseeable future.
