Three Rules for Making an IF I Ruled the School Essay Question a Correct One

One of my favorite sayings is "if I ruled the school essay debate, you'd still be behind." Sometimes it is really easy to forget how many rules our society has and how complex the system of rules can be. And it is a free-for-all for those who are willing to wager that they can win by way of sheer creativity and originality.

Now this is the unfortunate part about competition. It is not that there is necessarily a winner or a loser. It is that there is only one winner. It's either you win or you lose. It's not a knock out, it's just the real world we live in.

If I ruled the essay contest, there would be only two real alternatives. You could write an exceptional essay, or you could look like you don't even write anymore. In my mind, I would choose to stay true to myself, and not change who I am because others judge me by my writing abilities.

But what if I ruled the school essay contest? I am always open to creative ideas and opinions. I know that some students would rather have someone write their essay for them and then have it written by a third party, but I think that in today's society, we are seeing a great rise in the number of people who write and submit their essays to the contests. This is a trend that is bound to continue.

One of the things that I've noticed is that many schools now require that all students write an essay. They do this because some students can compose the most beautiful and compelling piece of literature ever put to paper. However, there is one problem with this. Some of those same students might lack the ability to actually write an engaging piece of literature. In my opinion, it is important that students are encouraged to develop the skills that will make them a better writer. First, I would write an introduction to my topic. This is the part that sets the stage for your main argument. The introduction gives the entire reason why the writer is writing the essay. If the topic is interesting and compelling, the introduction will be successful.

Secondly, I would begin the essay with a thesis statement. The thesis statement determines the main point of the essay as well as the entire conclusion. If the writer begins the essay with a weak thesis, he or she will most likely run into a few issues regarding the credibility of the information that they are sharing. Therefore, it is very important that the person starts the essay with strong lead. This starts the first paragraph of the essay.

Lastly, I would end the essay with a review of their main argument. In my experience, students do not properly end their essays. They tend to either ramble or just completely stop the discussion. Therefore, if I were to compose my own essay, I would prefer to start the discussion right away. Then I would either conclude the essay or make a suggestion to go further with the topic.

Now that we have discussed some guidelines to follow when writing the if i ruled the school essay, there are three main questions that must be answered: Did the teacher take the topic seriously? Why did she do what she did? And how did she deal with the situation? These are important questions since they will help determine if the student followed the rules. The second question is the one that can prove to be the most difficult to answer. The premise of the argument in the essay is based on the facts and statements made in the introduction. This means that if there was a violation of any of the rules, it must be mentioned in the introduction. This is not as easy to do as it sounds, especially if the violations were big.
