They usually say that the subject is sensitive and can be handled by young minds. This is a fallacy used to protect children from facing uncomfortable and even painful realities. It is very important to take a close look at that belief; especially if you consider yourself a parent.

Let's face it; we know that kids these days are way too young to make such judgments. But have you ever thought what will happen to them when they become teenagers? We should also keep in mind that the society is changing day by day. Some people think that sex education is no longer relevant in our modern world. Besides, sex education also helps youngsters understand different types of relationships. This will greatly help them deal with different kinds of relationship when they grow older.
