Here are some of them.

Who are the people putting convicted felons back into prison? Some say it's all fair because they are all repeat offenders and many were high-level criminals prior to their incarceration. Still, others point out that many of these same people re-start their criminal ways after their incarceration. They re-offend. Is it fair that these people now are trapped in a life sentence without chance to be released?

You may get laughs from your peers but the truth is, you have to defend your position. "But what about those people who committed minor crimes, were paroled, and then went on to commit more crimes?" Some might argue that even if they were hardened criminals, they still have a right to have a say in how society runs.

Some will tell you it's unfair to put these people back in the same situation that they were when they were first incarcerated. They would argue that the law protects everyone, including those who have committed crimes. Another group might say, "What about all those people who were wrongly convicted and sent to prison?" This group is concerned with unjustly punished people. A good argument and there are valid reasons for opposing this type of essay question.

Others say, "The whole point of free speech is to have a right to speak your mind," which they believe is taken away by prison sentences. There are many other points to consider such as the question, "What about innocent people who were wrongfully accused and sent to prison?" what to write college essay about do not deserve to be forgotten. The last thing anyone wants is to put someone in a situation where they can't vote or see their family. They say, "All men are created equal," yet in our country, some feel that blacks and Hispanics are treated worse than whites.

In the United States, there are over 500 million people in prison. Not all serve time in prison. Many serve time but are released early because they are unable to pay their fines. essay about love is important to understand that not everyone serving time for a crime is attempting to commit it again. It is also important to realize that if someone writes an essay about being in prison, they may be supporting a political party or a newspaper op-ed.

If you are asked to write a political essay, why should you? If you support a political party, how does that help improve freedom and country? Would voting for that party make your living any better? If you wrote an essay on why you should not be voting, what would your opinion be? Would voting make any difference in your life? Do you think it would or do you believe that your freedom of choice should be respected?

In prison, a person does not always have the opportunity to vote so how should you determine whether or not you should write a political essay? The answer should be based on your own beliefs and values. Do you believe that your freedom of choice should be respected and not be punished for your choices? How much money should be spent on campaigns and do you feel that the money should reflect the value that each candidate has with the voters? You decide, but you should still vote.
