It is a distinct ornamental paint that sticks to just about any surface area, wood, concrete, metal, matte plastic, earthenware and a lot more. Likewise, it dries rapidly and you can paint a 2nd and 3rd coats quickly! Here is our original plastic Adirondack chair. It had a white grainy residue that I cleaned off the surface with a wet rag.
Here is the final painted chair. I did coat the chair with 2-3 layers of paint. Chalk paint is terrific because you can begin painting another coat once the layer is dry to touch! I didn't use the Annie Sloan sealer wax given that, I understood that I would just touch up the chairs every Spring.
I hope you are getting your backyard prepared for summertime and that this job has you motivated to paint some of your old chairs. Now, I'm thinking what more can I paint in our house! Possibly our piano will be a future project. Stay tuned for more painting jobs. I would enjoy to hear if you have any enjoyable projects on your list! Cheers, I called my blog site Pleased Happy Nester since I enjoy everything related to the house.

A couple of weeks back. before I even understood I would have this brand name new blog. I wrote about my love for painting furnishings at Elline. com. I am going to share this post once again, here on my brand-new blog site, as this is a subject dear to my heart.
My buddies who hang out at my loft (pictures above) understand that I have a thing for painted furnishings. This "thing" took place a few years ago when I discovered Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I was buying two small tables at an antique shop when I asked the shop owner her opinion on painting old pieces.
