The choice of the designs you choose is the enjoyable and easy aspect, however, applying them can be another story if you don't have the proper instructions.

How to Install Dirtbike Graphics
These are the steps to apply graphics in an easy manner that will make sure that your graphics stick.

Dry Installation

2. Before you apply the graphics on your dirt bike cut the backing of the paper around the perimeter, making sure it is as close to the image as you can. The paper backing should be taken away from vent holes as well as bolt holes. Examine the alignment of the vents, holes and curves of the graphic the plastic.

3. Remove half of the backing, being careful not to let dust or other debris to accumulate on the adhesive side. Cut the backing along the middle horizontally for side plates or vertically for front plates. Cut a half-inch strip of backing and cut it away. Attach the backing that remains to graphic, lining it up with edges and holes.

4. Make sure the graphic is aligned with the plastic so that you don't risk the center strip from sticking. Once it's properly lined up you can place the center strip onto the plastic.

5. The backing of the paper must be removed from one side. Hold the graphic in place and keep it away from the plastic. Slowly apply the image by sliding one finger back and forth across the graphic, pressing down any air bubbles and wrinkles. To remove air bubbles and wrinkles you can use heat with a hair dryer or the heat gun in this process. Be aware that excessive heat can cause the decal to stretch too much and alter the appearance of the image.

6. Remove the backing paper of the other side and apply the graphic in the manner described in step 4. Repeat the steps for all other graphic.

Wet Installation
1. Make sure to clean your hands, the plastics and work area. Clean the plastic on the machine's front and back sides.

2. Cut the backing of the paper so that it is as close as you can to the graphic prior to applying. The backing paper should be taken away from vents and bolt holes. Check the position of the vents, holes as well as the edges and curves of the graphic against plastic.

3. Use a fine mist on your plastic.

4. Remove the backing paper and ensure the adhesive side is clean. Use a fine mist application fluid to spray the adhesive side.

5. The decal can be applied lightly to the plastic while lining the vent holes.

6. After everything is in place Start from the middle and work the liquid out to the edges with an squeeze-squeegee.

7. While you are continuing the squeegeeing process and continue to squeegee, you can use heat using a heat gun or hair dryer to speed up drying process. It will also help to work out any wrinkles and bubbles. Attention: Overheated heat could cause the decal to overstretch and alter the appearance of the image.

8. Clean, dry cloth to clean the extra fluid that remains at the edge of the plastic.

9. It is suggested that you do not ride your quad or dirt bike for at least 24 hours in order to ensure proper adhesion of the decal.
