Or even better, record themselves getting down to the new song, and share that.. Many of these shares are watched millions of times and yet they aren't recognized by copyright claim services.
In any event, any new song or old one on Youtube can be found in hundreds of different versions, from great quality tracks to bad renditions made by the drunken group of people who are watching. So long as the music is enjoyable, it's all good. I enjoy listening to tracks, get high-quality copies and, truthfully I haven't had to pay for music in a long time.
