As a chief learning officer, you will have to create a strategy for learning that should be based on what the goals of the company are. Assessing current employees 

After you outline the companywide learning program, as a chief learning officer, you will need to assess if you have the right employees who will execute the strategy properly. If you find out that there are holes which are in the organization, it is your work as a chief learning officer to hire the people. It might as well mean that you shuffle around responsibilities in the organization to those employees that seem strong.  And in case some employees are not ready or are not motivated to execute the new learning strategies, you might have to let them go. 

Evaluate and ensure to make changes 

Being the chief learning officer, you will have to be flexible as well as creative. Because you will be implementing a new platform for learning, you shouldn’t be rigid. The program that you implement doesn’t have to be static. Changes and tweaks have to be made at times based on the feedback from employees. Plus, you have to stay on top of the happenings within the industry when it comes to the learning management systems, technological advancements, and training designs.
