My story isn't particularly long. I was born, then went to school, worked, fought, and then finally, I was able to achieve something online. It also contains some very difficult moments when I thought that it was all over. One of these was when the computer at my home suddenly stopped working. However, after a little tweaking and moving the old drive onto the new one and installing a brand new desktop I was able to restore all the work on the drive. It took me 3 days of sweating and tears... After that I've learned one important thing - how to use Dropbox and personal ftp servers to automatically and manually backup my day's work so that nothing could ever be deleted.
It's not the ideal option. The more data you store in your online storage capacity, the more you will have to shell out to keep it. It's simple and appears secure. Also, it's accessible, can be downloaded anywhere you have access to internet access. But what about times when WiFi or any other internet connection isn't available? These are the times when I am glad to have my laptop around with me, it is like my final safe harbor to backup my data. There are two drives I own that I use to create RAID stacks. They copy each other and I keep one copy in case one of my HDDs is damaged. Because I rarely copy my laptop's contents my laptop, I've made it so that the two drives do not get disconnected at once.

Another big day of sadness was couple of months back.. I try to not perish in the process of completing any work. Like I said, I have duplicates of it many times. It is also available online at any time internet connectivity is accessible. The difference was about Periscope. I was using it quite a bit some time ago. In the summer 2020 riots, I participated in some live streaming streams. Periscope TV closed suddenly and all the videos will disappear within a couple of weeks. What should I do? All the videos need to be downloaded onto my laptop in order to save them offline. These are important to me. This was the last time we had a night out with my friend.
I go to his website and can download video directly from Youtube, Instagram, Facebook and other sources. I am interested in politics as well as underground movements. So I film many live events, save certain ones for later and then publish them on YouTube. When I'm done live, I back up the video to my laptop. This is how I do it. Additionally, it lets me cross-post videos across various platforms. It's not just to share Youtube video on Facebook however, I can also upload the video to Facebook and make it an individual video on its own. It's incredible how many live feeds have I made over the last eight years. I currently have 3TB. Periscope lives are not lost.. and this site has been extremely helpful to me.

It's as easy as. The video I would like to save to Periscope or Youtube is opened. I then copy the URL using the share button. After that, I go to the site for downloading videos and paste video link in the location they'd like to download it. hit big button and in moments I am presented with options to download video, save it to my desktop or laptop, to transfer it to other platforms and simple preserve it for friends and family. Periscope is not accessible on all sites.
You can make windows copy to combine these fragments, and then create a normal 1 long video file. This is due to the video format Mpeg TS (or transport stream) that is used to create the video fragments. It contains all the data necessary for decoding video in each of the fragments. Each stream is initiated from the middle without interruption. In addition, it allows browsers to save data transfer because instead of a single hour file, it is able to download 360 x 10 seconds long files, and only downloads those you're watching. Thus, even if you watch only 25 seconds of the stream, your player ends up downloading just 4-6 fragments (it gets 3-4 fragments of the 25 second stretch currently in play, plus 1-2 following fragments, in case you continue viewing the stream). This decreases the download time by only downloading 25 seconds after the start of the stream.
