An office building is equipped with many windows to allow natural light into the office. This type of natural lighting provides the best visual effect for office workers since it simulates natural sunlight. During the observations, the field laboratory is located in an interior room of the office building. The office is surrounded by a bright window. In this type of office environment, there is no artificial illumination. The indoor environment's primary effect is the temperature change.

Ambient temperature significantly changed over the two week period in the field lab. The effect of temperature on the behavior and physical state of office workers can be described using a mathematical model called the Adaptation Time Curve (ATAC). This model predicts how an object's behavior will change depending on time and altitude. It is based on observations at the observation point. It can be used for temperature and light, and for any other quantity or class of quantity which is a change of the input over time. The ATA curve predicts a U-shaped pattern for temperature. This is where there is a rapid change in temperature from bright to dark or from cold to warm.

Since the field lab does not contain any office buildings, office workers physical well-being can only be measured using self-paced visual analog scale (VASA). However, https://romaop.com/ui4u/ is not sensitive to changes in indoor environmental quality and there are no means of measuring physical well-being as office workers productivity or motivation can only be observed using objective parameters. Office workers performance and motivation from a psychological perspective can also be measured using the Performance Level Index (PLI).

When measuring indoor environment quality, there are four factors we take into consideration. These factors are total lighting intensity, background temperature, air flow conditioner (AFC) efficiency, and relative humidity (R). Total lighting intensity and background temperature directly influence the ALC efficiency because low levels of illumination prevent the heat conduction from the central cooling fan to the interior surfaces of the room. Likewise, poor airflow conditioner efficiency prevents heat from getting distributed to the interior surfaces. Low efficiency airflow conditioners result in higher indoor temperatures and poor indoor climate quality. Because humidity levels are low, perspiration is reduced and office occupants feel more comfortable due to the effect of relative humidity.

The type of lighting in an office room can affect AFC efficiency. Bright lighting has a significant impact on heat conduction efficiency. In offices, it may be difficult to observe a significant effect of lighting on ALC. The difference in light intensity and ambient temperature could be the cause of observed differences. If the indoor temperature is close to the outdoor temperature (T temp), then any difference in T temps will be small.

AFC is a powerful tool for improving the office air quality. It can improve office work performance by regulating indoor temperature, humidity, and the ALC reaction. It can also reduce the temperature difference between the A/C environment and the outside environment. This results in a better indoor environment quality.

The perception of the environment is a key factor in office workers' motivation and performance. They can measure this perception by observing the different aspects of the indoor environment quality. Indoor lighting can have a significant impact on office workers' performance and motivation. We measured this motivational effect of illumination by using a psychological test battery. The test battery consisted a simple questionnaire that asked office workers to answer questions about their motivation to work and how they feel about working.
