System Restore is your first line defense. It will restore you to the condition prior to the issue arising similar to the time machine. You can always undo it if it doesn't work. Learn more about it in the above tutorial and then try to restore to before this began. Do it now if System Restore isn't enabled on C drive to make it available in the future.

If the problem repeats or System Restore doesn't work then check which Windows Updates were installed at Settings > Update & Security > Windows Updates > Update History, uninstall them there or System Restore again, then immediately check for and block the Updates with the Hide Updates tool explained here: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8280-hide-s...

Even if you've already tried the steps I have provided I suggest you repeat them in the order I suggest.

1) Run the Store app troubleshooter in Settings> Update and Security> Troubleshoot.

2) Search for and install game updates in Microsoft Store app > Hub (three dots at the top right) > Updates.

3) Reset Minecraft in Windows Settings > Applications > Applications and Features > Minecraft > Advanced Option Repair or Reset. Restart your PC and try again.

If none of these work, uninstall Minecraft from Settings, reboot your computer, then reinstall MS Store Hub (three dots at the top right of Store app).

4) The driver for Display is so important here that just updating it often not enough. So let's try everything possible to get it working correctly:

Update the Display driver from the PC or Display adapter maker's Support Downloads web page for your exact model number, HP Serial Number or Dell Service Tag - from the sticker on the PC.

While there, look for newer chipset BIOS/UEFI firmware (very crucial) as well as network and sound, USB3 and other drivers that are not compatible with the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start Menu.

If this doesn't give you the latest or ideal driver for what you need, compare it to the driver offered by the Intel driver update Utility here: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/... or the Nvidia Update utility here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Scan.aspx?lang=e... or the AMD autodect utility here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/P...

Display issues can be fixed by rolling back or uninstalling the driver on the Display Device > Driver tab. Then restart Pirateportal to reinstall the driver.

You can also try older drivers by going to Device Manager > Display device> Driver tab Update Driver > Browse > Let me Pick.

Then you'll know you've tried everything except to Windows Update drivers.

You can alter the resolution of the screen until it appears good. Go to Settings > System > Display.

5) If nothing else helps then contact Minecraft Support here: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

I hope you find this useful. You are welcome to ask any questions and keep me informed. If you're waiting to rate whether my post resolved your problem I'll continue to work with you until you are satisfied.
