'Minecraft' Is Making Its Way To China

my games all about video

The world's Minecraft players log hundreds of hours in Minecraft every day, but there aren't many gamers in China. Today, Minecraft developer Mojang announced it's developing a brand new version of the game created specifically for Chinese gamers. The partnership with Chinese internet company NetEase is what's led to this development and it's the same NetEase that runs games like World of Warcraft and Hearthstone in China already.

There is no official release date and no information about what changes to the primary game will be made to cater to the Chinese market. We do know that the Chinese version will be available exclusively for smartphones and PCs.

"We are excited to introduce Minecraft to Chinese audiences, and expect our huge online community to embrace this game of a lifetime," William Ding, CEO and co-founder of NetEase, Inc. announced. We have a solid platform to introduce Minecraft to China's massive user base, thanks to our deep understanding of China and our ability launch internationally-respected online and mobile games.
