Minecraft Bedrock And Java Editions To Be Sold Together On PC

from web site

srazy's blog SRAZY minecraft servers

The Java Edition and the Bedrock Edition were the two Minecraft versions that are available for download on PC. That is set to be changed on June 7 when both versions will be sold together on PCs.

This may leave you wondering what this means for your life. Basically, it's just an incremental change. A single purchase will provide both versions of Minecraft in one package. Minecraft servers means that you'll only get one vanilla version of Minecraft on Windows now. There's no need to fret if you already have Java or Bedrock editions. Mojang says that all players who have either Java Edition or Bedrock Edition will receive the edition they do not currently own for free, and right from the Minecraft Launcher. This could take up to three days to appear however.

Jave and Bedrock will continue to be their own games, with different features. There are no changes to the features. The only difference is that you'll be receiving both when you purchase Minecraft on your Windows PC Both versions are in the same launcher.

As a reminder, even though Java is only available to PC, Mac and Linux systems The Bedrock Edition is available on PC, mobile (Android, iOS, Windows 10 mobile ), and on various consoles like Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and many more. Java is considered the more flexible version of Minecraft on PC in terms of modding however, it doesn't support cross-platform play. The Java Edition has a higher performance ceiling, tends to look better on higher-end gaming systems, whereas the Bedrock Edition is designed for more fluid gameplay and has shorter loading times.
