Minecraft challenge runs are a mainstay of the game's creator community. It's not what we'd consider a violent game but you do encounter a surprising amount of enemies in a normal playthrough - whether it's the zombies that cause you trouble at the beginning or farming items from creatures in the Nether or even slaying the Ender Dragon - and so an pacifist playthrough can be more difficult than you think. You can engage in some violence even if you don't plan to.

SwitchBackMongo is a Minecraft YouTuber who plays Hardcore. SwitchBackMongo determined to stop the violence and set out on a journey that would see him conquer all Minecraft mobs. Well, mostly. They technically didn't kill anything, but the explosive beds - yes, that's right - they used around the Ender Dragon definitely did.

Anyone who's played Minecraft before will know that when you're searching for resources, you have to defend yourself. You will be attacked by skeletons, spiders and creepers deep in the overworld. email 's not easy to avoid them. Even the act of simply grasping a piece of iron could cause a fight or even death. Keep in mind that this is Hardcore and death isn't an option.

SwitchBackMongo found the Nether to be the most troublesome. It was a Blaze enemy which is the sole source of Blaze Rods in the game. These are an essential ingredient in the creation of the Eye of Ender, which will lead to The End, making Blazes one of two enemies which must die in order to 'complete' Minecraft. But is that a requirement to kill them?

SwitchBackMongo tries out a few methods to handle them in the video, such as watching as an Iron Golem decimates fifty Blazes with no drops, and then going to Google like so many of us for an answer. It's true that wolves are man's best friend and they were able to get the job accomplished.

The entire event is fun to watch, as it's a brand-new venture for the popular Minecraft YouTuber. They're not sure how to do it. It's rare to see a challenge run that hasn’t been completed before, especially in a game such as Minecraft.

In other thrilling Minecraft runs there was a group of players who managed to complete the game in under two minutes, and another player decided to capture the Ender Dragon instead of killing it.
