Minecraft 1.18 Is Due To Launch This Month, But Three Big Features Are "on Hold"

The snapshot betas were getting smaller and smaller, so we knew it was coming. But now Mojang has announced it as official. The Minecraft 1.18 release date with all Caves & Cliffs Part 2 features is scheduled to be released in the last week of November. The update will be available on all platforms Minecraft supports and will bring us a host new biomes, a revamped worlds generation and more.



Minecraft 1.18 will be available on November 30. The Java Edition update will be available on Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs and the Bedrock Edition will launch on - deep breath PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Windows 10 and 11 PCs.



The update adds new world generation features and improved cave systems, along with candles. As previously announced, certain features were pushed back from 1.18. They won't be in 1.19 (also known as The Wild update), as the developers have confirmed.



The announcement explains that archaeology, bundles and goat horns have been "put on hold". all about minecraft servers and minecraft in general taken off the schedule. We simply needed to put them on hold for the moment.
