Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on 7 7 of December 1973, to Mr. and Mrs. Tim Oyakhilome, as the first child of the family. He went to primary and secondary school, then he went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria and graduated with an BSc. In Architecture.
AAU has also conferred on him with an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe and they have two beautiful children.

While still in AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student. He began his journey into the ministry while in AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at that time known as Youths For Christ.
YFC expanded and became the largest fellowship on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the headquarters of the church. Believer's LoveWorld is today a global church with thousands of members and associates all across the globe.
Through the atmosphere for miracles series, BLW became Africa's most prominent Christian ministry through television. The program was pulled by President Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004.
Pastor Chris's Ministry is divided into four parts that include healing ministry, publishing ministry, teaching ministry and television ministry. From these ministries, he created the healing school and an atmosphere for miracles, as well as the Pastor Chris global prayer network.
