The world's Minecraft players log hundreds of hours in Minecraft each day, but there aren't many gamers in China. Mojang is a Minecraft developer, announced today that it's developing a new version of the game that is specifically for Chinese players. This development was made possible by NetEase, a Chinese internet company. NetEase operates games such as Hearthstone and World of Warcraft in China.
There's no official release date as of yet, and no further details regarding what modifications to the game's core are warranted for the Chinese market. We do know that the Chinese version will launch exclusively for mobile and PC devices.
