Celebrating Three Epic Months Of Back-to-Back Blockbuster Game Launches On Xbox Game Pass

It's been a memorable year for Team Xbox and for you our fans. JACK welcomed Bethesda to the Xbox family, announced a new slate of games in June, and then launched Psychonauts 2 and Microsoft Flight Simulator Two of the most highly-rated games of the year, onto Xbox Game Pass. Twenty-five million players have now joined us in Sea of Thieves and your passion for Series X-shaped appliances has made the "Mini Fridge" a real thing. We couldn't be happier with the amazing support we've received from our players.

In the midst of the Xbox 20th anniversary in November, we're thrilled to kick-off three epic months of back-to back blockbuster game launches in Game Pass:

The Age of Empires franchise has been a key part of Microsoft's gaming legacy for the past 24 years, and the October. 28 launch of Age of Empires IV will be the biggest to date and will bring the redesigned real-time strategy game to a new generation on Steam and Game Pass for PC on day one. Minecraft will join Game Pass for PC on Nov. 2, followed by new Minecraft Dungeons Seasonal Adventures in December, and Caves & Cliffs: Part II later in the year.


Forza Horizon 5's open-world adventure in Mexico will launch on Nov. 9. S and Windows PC. Game Pass also includes console and cloud gaming (beta).


Microsoft Flight Simulator: Game of the Year Edition is available for free to existing players, Game Pass members and Game Pass members. It includes five new aircrafts and eight new airports. There are also new Discovery Flights and tutorials. The game also features the most requested community features, such as DX12 support. Microsoft Flight Simulator will also launch the Reno Air Races, featuring the fastest motorsports anywhere in the world. It will also be available from Nov. 18.


The Master Chief is coming back on December 8 with Halo Infinite. This is the Halo we had in our minds for 20 years that finally comes to life in the biggest Halo game we have ever created. Halo Infinite will be available through Game Pass when it launches across Xbox One, Xbox Series X Game Pass Ultimate members will get monthly multiplayer bonuses as part the Perks program.


Our teams have also been expanding the games you love. You have explored Minecraft: Caves & Cliffs Part 1 and Sea of Thieves; A Pirate's Life, Sea of Thieves, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2 and Homecoming Grounded Hot and Heezy, Halo The Master Chief Season 8 and more in the past few months. We are incredibly grateful that these worlds continue be enjoyed by millions of you.

Over the last two decades, the Xbox community has made gaming an enjoyable experience and inspiration, education, and social connection. Games help build bridges and create bonds between family and friends and also offer people new ways to connect.
