How To: Install.jar Mods

from web site

I'm Bonnie And You Are server lists Minecraft servers

The way you explain how to install Java mods is not correct. The reason is that when you place the Java file into the mod folder, it will just work as a basic mod until a different one in another section in the ".minecraft" folder is beeing used. This is what I mean:

1. Cut or copy the jar files, but don’t paste them yet. Navigate to the versions folder and create another folder. Copy the jar file into the folder you created. Copy the jar file into the folder and then paste it using an alternative name 5. Open the jar file using notepad. minecraft servers , and then close the file. Remove the copied file 7. Create another file (most likely an txt file) and name it exactly as the jar file is called 8. When it is created exactly as the Jar file and saved with the same name as an .json file 9. Open the json file in Notpad and copy the next 10. Start the launcher , and then select the mod you wish to "made."

10,5. If this isn't working If this doesn't work, follow these steps: Open the folder for versions and choose a folder you don't need (if the mod is running 1.7.10 then you must find a folder that runs the 1.7.10 Minecraft version 12. Paste the jar file into the folder you've selected and rename it exactly the way the json file is called 13. Start the launcher and select the version

If you are unable to locate the folder, go back to the folder for versions and look for the last edited folder. You can then rename it to your liking. I recommend that you rename all files in that folder to exactly the same name as the folder.
