OJEE: The Golden Gate for a Bright Future

Students who have studied in pure science stream can sit for this exam. The test is taken on four science subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. In the earlier time, two different types of tests were taken. One was for engineering and another was for medical. Candidates interested in pursuing engineering degrees would sit for an admission test taken on physics, chemistry and mathematics. On the other hand, medical career seekers would undergo a testmagic witchcraft spells taken on physics, chemistry and biology. It has received a great change, after the announcement of a different test for medical students. This exam is called ALL INDIA COMMON MEDICAL ENTRANCE EXAM (NEET). Now OJEE is conducted only for offering admission to various engineering colleges.

OJEE Exam papers have three distinct sections dedicated for four different subjects- physics, chemistry and mathematics, and biology. Each section has four different sets- Set-A, Set-B, Set-C, and Set-D. There is no extra question. Therefore, candidates have to attend all questions. All questions are short multiple type questions. Needless to say, OJEE has brought some significant changes since this year (2015). The candidates interested in taking admission to B. Tech and B. Arch courses must come through JEE Main and JEE advance exams. Both of these tests are conducted by CBSE New Delhi.

More than 3 lakh candidates sit for this exam every year. Therefore, the competition level is quite high. One must labour hard to qualify this exam. The concerned authorities decide and declare the cut off marks for every year. They declare the minimum score required for qualifying the entrance exam. 

The qualified candidates can choose a program, depending on his choice and marks obtained in OJEE. To participate in counselling process, students can register online trough OJEE counselling website www.ojee.nic.in. They can take part in online choice filling.
