Minecraft Save Game Files location on Mac OS

All Mac OS X versions can locate saved games at this location:

~/Library/Application Support/minecraft

To quickly jump to that destination, you can paste the file path into Finder's Go To File command (Command+Shift+G), Spotlight (command+spacebar), or both.

You can also access this information from Finder by selecting the Go menu and holding down Option. Next, navigate to "Application Support" and then to "Minecraft".

The following location can be used to locate Minecraft saved game files on Windows PCs:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft
