Minecraft might not be the most action-packed experience, but all that walking is the only thing the Omni virtual reality device needs. Above: Two Omni developers take Minecraft multiplayer for a spin. They show the high-voltage walking, running and jumping that gamers can expect to experience in VR.

The Omni Kickstarter has a further 20 days left, and is currently at $970,000 of its $150,000 goal.

For anyone who doesn't have an Omni setup - or with one, eventually and eventually Minecraft has a brand-new launcher on PC. The launcher's new version is required to play the latest version, Minecraft 1.6, and any future updates. Although this new interface supports multiple usernames within a Mojang account (although that feature isn’t yet enabled by Mojang) However, it does allow for multiple usernames.

The new system will update automatically without the requirement to manually update. Single-player content will be accessible offline. The launcher will try to connect to Minecraft servers even if players are offline.
