'Minecraft: Story Mode 3 Extra Episodes In 2022

The first four episodes of Minecraft: Story Mode came out in a rapid succession, giving players a meticulously crafted story before Christmas. With just one episode to go, developer Telltale suddenly went quiet about when its adventure would conclude. Today we have a time -- and it's not exactly what we expected. Episode 5 will air on March 29th and will be followed by three more episodes later this year. These episodes are being referred to as "additional adventures" and are not included in the season pass. You'll have to purchase a premium subscription if would like to see the entire story.

Mojang's Owen Hill wrote in a blog post that although information isn't available about the game's content, he stated that "we can assure you that they'll be great and maybe have a slightly different flavor to the previous seasons." The world is undergoing a major shift towards the end of episode 4, which opens up new adventures for Jesse or the Order of the Stone.
