Minecraft's version of Elden Ring is here, and it's incredible. It's not easy to combine the two giants of gaming However, modding and a dedicated YouTuber has made it possible. It's also easy enough to do it yourself.

AsianHalfSquat is the YouTuber in the matter. He is a prolific creator of Minecraft mod videos that showcase the great work of the community that has helped build Minecraft. This time there wasn't just the only mod they were highlighting, but a total of 40.

In the video, AsianHalfSquat goes over each of the mods they've picked in detail, explaining why they've been chosen as well as any minor tweaks you might need to make, and any issues they could cause. It's a lot to take in however it's worth watching the video for the sake of understanding how massive this project is. You can download the Shattered Ring modpack at the link.

The result is a game which definitely is reminiscent of Minecraft, but not as the majority of people think of it. Instead, combat is more depth and variety with various weapons that require new timings to think about and button mashing is no longer an effective strategy since the tougher mobs are likely to punish you for it. New bosses roam the globe, ready to strike without notice as they smash into the surroundings and destroy the players.

Dungeons can be a scary area, with walls covered in hordes of amazing textures. There are dragons roaming around the world dropping explosive fireballs willy-nilly to kill you and smolder the earth itself. This is one of those instances that truly show how awesome Minecraft mods are and we're excited to see what's next in the world of Minecraft Elden Ring crossovers.
