Lineage to Launch Globally On November 4,

South Korean game company NCSoft has announced that its latest cross-platform MMORPG "Lineage W" will launch globally on November 4, 2021, in the initial regions, which include Southeast Asia, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Russia, and the Middle East. Lineage W will then expand its areas of service to North America, South America and Europe. The game will be accessible for Android, iOS, PC (via Purple), PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PS5.

The pre-registration process for Lineage W, which started two months ago, is still in progress on the official website, Google Play, and Apple App Store. Pre-registered users can also choose their preferred characters' names on the website for the game.

Lineage W is a sequel to Lineage 1, an MMORPG that was released in 1998 and features 2D isometric-overhead graphics. The story takes place 150 years after Lineage. Lineage W is essentially identical to the original game, but with full 3D graphics (developed using Unreal Engine 4) as well as a camera with a quarter-view view.

It also comes with the dark fantasy theme, cell/grid combat system and a battle system that gives better strike feedback, immersive storylines and improved content for alliances or pledges. The game's website contains information on the four classes: Monarch, Knight Elf, Mage, and Elf.

Lineage W also has a "global battle community." Players from all over the world can collaborate and compete on one battleground (server). It also allows 'AI translation' which enables real-time communication between players who speak different languages, and a 'Voice to Text which converts speech into text.

According to the game's 2nd showcase event, Lineage W's initial content will have a variety of different content such as magic dolls that look even more adorable, a dice game, convoy missions for tax wagons teleport treasure hunts, and collection events.

The company also said that it would not be offering monthly subscriptions like Einhasad’s Blessing or other XP-related products. Einhasad's Blessing is an in-game purchase that boosts the rate of acquisition of Adena (the game's money) and experience points and other items that can be traded. Other systems, such as symbols, guard stars, and spirit engraving, will not be included in the Lineage W.

It also mentioned that it would support players-to-player trade systems. The game allows players to trade items or purchase and sell items in real-time. Private fees for trading have been dramatically reduced by NCSoft. The market for trade will also be available.

Lineage W will be released on November 4, 2021. It will be available for first Android, iOS, and PC platforms. It will be available for the PlayStation 5 in 2022, and Nintendo Switch in 2022.
