Crytek is a company that is known for its stunning graphics for first-person shooters is joining forces with DeNA to join the free-to play mobile game market with The Collectables.



With a modified version the Crytek engine, The Collectables is what you'd hope for from an Crytek game: "intense combat, extreme gunfights, 3D battlegrounds and classic action heroes that are larger than life to provide players with an unbeatable mobile game experience." Pre-orders of the game will unlock an in-game character with limited-time gear.



The Collectables will not be available until 2014. DeNA and Crytek hope to release it in 2014.

The Collectables is available for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices through DeNA's mobile gaming platform Mobage. It has stunning graphics that are based on Crytek’s CRYENGINE technology. The game blends strategy and action and lets players lead a group of soldiers who are a bit out of the norm in missions across the globe.
