The Camera Performs Differently Minecraft's

The initial version, launched on December 2, 2009 was more restricted than any other edition of Minecraft ever released to the public, including the pre-classic version accessible via the Minecraft Launcher. The controls were altered and more blocks were added to the game. [2]

The original page hosting the game was removed in November 2014. You can still access the archive using the Wayback Machine. The executable can also be found on the Internet Archive.

On December 2, 2012 Notch released a JavaScript version of Minecraft 4K. It isn't possible to move or view in this version, though the camera or the world can move on its own, and there is the blue water-like block addition to the other types of blocks. [3]

Gameplay[]

General[]

The player is able to place and remove blocks. The only block the player can put in is grass, reminiscent of the very early builds of Minecraft internally called RubyDung which can be downloaded from the Minecraft Launcher. Leaves do not decay.

World[]

The same 64x64x63 block world is created each time the game is loaded. The only blocks in the game are air, grass block, bricks, dirt, stone leaves, wood and bricks are scattered across the world. No mobs exist.

The initial build of the game only has one type of block, that uses an XOR fractal as texture.

A wall that is invisible is a barrier that surrounds the world, stopping the player from leaving like invisible bedrock or an old world.

Controls[]

The player can move using the standard WASD controls, as also jumping using Space.

Left- and right-clicking controls are reversed from the traditional Minecraft controls. Left-click places blocks, while right-clicks demolish them. The middle-click can also place blocks in a different way. The camera is "smoothly" activated by moving the mouse, just like pressing F8 in Java Edition. This version cannot be altered.

The camera functions differently from Minecraft's. The camera moves only when the cursor is moved a significant distance from the center of Minecraft's viewport. The cursor can select blocks across the world, and not the center of the viewport.

The game does not include an options menu , nor a HUD.

Graphics[]

The graphics appear pixelated because of the game's rendering at a low resolution. The game does not adjust the resolution appropriately when running at a higher resolution. This results in the game retaining its pixelated appearance. Block textures are similar to those used in Classic because Classic 0.30 (Creative) was the most recent version of Minecraft at the time. Most blocks appear noisier than their Minecraft counterparts, but certain blocks, like stone, are a lot different. The sky is black due to the absence of a skybox.

When the cursor is hovered over the block, the outline of the block is thick and white, in contrast to Minecraft's thin gray block selection outline.

Blocks[]

The first version of the game comes with a single non-air block.

The second version stores block IDs using four bits. Cooper's blog This gives 16 possible IDs. The majority of these are filled in with slightly differently textured dirt.
