Mojang's Minecraft is now at 8 million in total sales on Xbox 360, the game's retail release clearly building on the XBLA version's success. Take a look at this week's UK charts and the Xbox 360 Edition is the fourth game this year to be Numero Uno for three consecutive weeks The other three are The Last of Us, Dead Island: Riptide, and BioShock Infinite.

The feat is happening as the Xbox 360 version prepares for Title Update 12, with the full changelog is now up on PlayXBLA. Among the various additions from the PC version are the ocelots that make creepers run away, and the jungle biomes that they inhabit.

Silly season is almost upon us, but there's still time to take a break and enjoy the chaos that is unfolding. It's another slow week in the UK Charts office. https://mpservers.net/ To see that you just have to watch FIFA 13 and The Smurfs 2 in third and second respectively.

Despite all the silence, Tales of Xillia makes a positive debut. Namco's JRPG takes off to the top of the fourth place, which is somewhat of a shock considering the series' previous record in the UK To compare the two, one year ago Tales of Graces F debuted on 14th April.
