Minecraft's annual event started out as an event, but it changed to streaming-only format in 2017 in a bid to keep the tight-knit environment for a growing number of people. MINECRAFT GAMES The event is now returning to an in-person experience, however, and has now more details to announce. The newly rebranded Minecraft Festival will take place at Orlando's Orange County Convention Center from September 25th through September 27th. Tickets are on sale starting on March 6th at 12 pm Eastern. Mojang and Microsoft have promised lots of activities in addition to listening to the most recent Minecraft news that include panels, exhibits, tournaments, "live entertainment" and the most important thing exclusive merchandise.

Tickets start at $60 for a single-day pass, and $165 for three days, and everyone who attends will receive an in-game Minecraft Festival cap that works with both Bedrock and Java. Like many conventions, though there are incentives to pay more. The $225 Gold package gives you early access to exhibits and panels. Those who opt for the $300 Diamond package are granted access to a special lounge as well as a private bag and coat inspection.

This is a good thing for fans who missed the chance to meet the creators and other fans. In the end, Microsoft is taking a chance with the coronavirus epidemic that is currently in progress. While September is only seven months away at the time of writing this, it's not guaranteed that the outbreak will be completely under control at that point. It's likely that Minecraft Festival will go ahead -- you might just want to be cautious about planning your life around the event.
