Minecraft has had its fair share of games. There are a myriad of blocky variations on media, whether it's a YouTuber making a Tetris-inspired twist or a fan creating their own Dark Souls game. It's only natural then, to know that there's lot of people out there who are creating Lord of the rings-inspired Minecraft models.

Many of the builds we write about are large in size and intricate, however this one from DesignMinion is a small-scale model. DesignMinion published a Reddit video of a brand new door they had created. It's a stunning recreation of that magical door that leads into the Mines of Moria. Some people laugh at the thought that it leads into the mine, while some believe it's a tomb. This is a beautiful door.

It's almost like you're looking through an IKEA catalog, taking a look at it. "The line art is white concrete blocks. Stone deepslate, cyan, and Terracotta were used to create the stone texture. The stone'staircases,' which rise towards the south, makes the stone slightly brighter.

DesignMinion created this canvas in Photoshop and then copied the Tolkien artwork and turned it into four maps.

Another excellent detail is The Watcher that is just a little squid dude in this version but is a horrifying Hobbit-eating Kraken in the standard version of the world. The glowing effect is the result of a shader DesignMinion is using , which is called Sildur's Vibrant Shaders v1.32 Medium. It's a minor thing, but it's a funny nod to the Lord of the Rings that fans will love.
