It is worth mentioning that petroleum product additive is not a panacea. It cannot turn inferior oil products into high-quality oil products. Additives are only one of the main factors to improve the quality of oil products. The contribution of petroleum product additives depends not only on their special components but also on the quality of basic oil.

Category of petroleum product additives

  • Detergent refers to chemicals that can be cleaned and keep the engine components clean in fuel or lubricant. In the engine oil formula, most of the cleaning agents are acidic metal soap to neutralize or produce acids produced in oxidation or combustion.
