The first Month of RuneScape 3 by the Numbers

from web site

Runescape wiki

It's been more than one month since RuneScape updated to RuneScape 3 -- an overhaul of the graphics and mechanics, but remains the same core of the same game. But how well was it been done over the last month? The team at Jagex has crunched a few figures and they appear to be favorable. runescape wiki Over the past 30 days 100,000 players have reactivated their old accounts, and 300,000 players have started completely new accounts to play the game.

More than 600,000 hours of gaming have been logged per day for every single account, whether it's new or existing and reactivated accounts, which is quite staggering. Since the game's inception, players have killed 60,000,000 enemies and have collected 1 Billion Divine Tears (remnants from a now-dead God whose death triggered the current situation of the game). Although it's premature to judge the game as a success or failure this is a sign that even games from the past still have plenty of potential.

Jagex also shared video about the new Nightmare Zone. This is content is available for Old School RuneScape, but will not be coming to RuneScape 3 itself. We have embedded the video below.
