History

Vivecraft was first developed in 2013 by Minecrift by mabrowning, StellaArtois, and was meant to be a seated VR mod that could be used with the Oculus Rift development kit. Automat-GH made it available to OpenVR in the beginning of 2016. He also added the original implementations for roomscale play, teleporting and the name MinecriftVive. Techjar and jrbudda began updating the mod in mid-2016. They have since added numerous new features as well as improved compatibility for the larger Minecraft community. To distinguish the current version, Vivecraft is now being used.
