The Minecraft Badlion Client has been Porting To Linux

from web site

Feah just another wordpress site

Badlion is a very well-loved Minecraft launcher that bundles a variety of things together, has been officially ported over to Linux with the Badlion Client 3.1 update.

What's the significance of it? It offers a few additional features right out of the box including enhancements like Optifine and their own "Betterframes" tool and anti-cheat (not in the Linux version), various modifications for FPS improvements and a variety of mods are available, including Minimap, ArmorStatus, PotionStatus, Crosshair, CPS (clicks per second), and many more. It is used by thousandsof users, so it is great to have official Linux options.

Here's how it appears On Linux. The actual launcher is first and the second the in-game image with their own menu system.

Speaking about the Linux release They said:

We are super excited to announce today to the entire Minecraft community that the Badlion Client is now live on Linux! Just another wordpress site Our development team has been working hard over the last few months , trying to finish off the last pieces of Linux support and resolving the compatibility issues we talked about earlier in our announcement post about Linux last year. Just in the nick of time for BLC 3.1 The development team was able to finalize the Linux support.

We want to quickly thank the Linux community for their patience over the last few months. We are aware that we were not unfortunately able to release the Linux version until the end of 2020 as we had planned, but we hope that you are thrilled nevertheless to play with the most feature packed Minecraft version for free!

You can download it here. It is provided as an AppImage which means it will work with most Linux distributions.
