UPDATE: Mojang announced that Minecraft 1.18 – Caves and Cliffs Part 2 – is now available for download on Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. It can also be played on Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android.
The game's next major patch isn't expected to be released until the beginning of next year, or at the very least two months into 2022.
