Chris Oyakhilome from Nigeria is a pastor, TV host, and an author. He is the president of Believers' World Incorporated and is also called Christ Embassy International.
Oyakhilome Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first in his family members to be born. He went to primary and secondary school. He then attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria, where he got a BSc. in Architecture.
AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has an honorary Doctor of Science from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was one time a husband to Anita Obhodaghe. He and her have two beautiful children.
Chris Oyakhilome's ministry
While still in school at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome got involved in ministry. At the time the Believers' World Fellowship, which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).
YFC has seen rapid growth and was the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the location of the church. Believer's LoveWorld has millions of associates and followers all over the world.
Through its 2002 environment for miracles, BLW was the most prominent Christian ministry on TV in Africa. The broadcast stopped in May 2004, after the then President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles shouldn't be allowed to continue by churches.
Pastor Chris's Ministry comprises four different branches including publishing ministry, the healing ministry, television ministry; and teaching ministry. The foundation recognizes the achievements of the young leaders through an award ceremonycalled The Future African Leaders' Awards. The InnerCity Mission for children is an religiously-based not-governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was established in 2005 with the intention to help vulnerable, weak orphaned kids around the world.
The foundation assists these deprived children and communities through sustainable and inclusive interventions, which include child development programs and childcare programs Family strengthening programmes, InnerCity Mission for Children School and many more.
Trauma Care International Foundation
The Trauma care International Foundation was founded to enhance the quality of life and health of local communities as well as nations. It also encourages better emergency response in the case of accidents or emergencies. The foundation intends to achieve this goal through health education advocacy, community-based and other programs while positioning to provide assistance to national policies on trauma care.
The foundation has provided more than a thousand First Aid, safety, and emergency response training. It is said that they were able to train thousands of schoolchildren as well as law enforcement officers and teachers, caregivers, and road transport workers.
