Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome, and was born 7 December 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. He was educated in elementary and secondary education from Ambrose Alli University. After his graduation, he received the degree of BSc Architecture.
AAU also awarded him with an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe and they have two beautiful children.

While still studying at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome became involved in the ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at the time called Youths For Christ.
YFC has seen rapid growth and was the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church. Believer's LoveWorld is an international ministry that has millions of followers and associates all around the world.
Through the 2002 atmosphere of miracles program, BLW became Africa’s most well-known Christian ministry. They stopped airing it in May 2004 when President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria declared that churches must stop broadcasting miracles.
Pastor Chris's Ministry is divided into four parts: healing ministry, publishing ministry teaching ministry, and television ministry. He also has created the Pastor Chris Live Global Prayer Network, which is an environment that encourages miracles and healing schools.
