Minecraft Pi Edition Ready to Download Offers Pint-sized Play on a Pint-size PC

Is Minecraft the new Doom? It certainly seems that way as Minecraft is now available on all platforms, including the Raspberry Pi port. Mojang has released Minecraft: Pi Edition, after a rough beginning in December. The release for the public is a reduced version of Pocket Edition that fits into the system's limited resources, including networking if you've purchased the $35 Raspberry Pi unit. The limitations reduce the chances that you'll be creating virtual electronics with an instrument that was initially designed to be used for real electronics, but try not to let the irony get in your way because it's a chance to create blocky virtual worlds on a computer that's less than a good night on the town.
