How Israelis React to Current Events Around the World:

With so much happening in the world, it can be difficult to keep up with the news. That's why we're here to help. In this blog post, we'll give you a rundown of the latest news coming out of Israel. From politics to culture, we've got you covered. So sit back, relax, and catch up on all the latest news from Israel.

 Politics

The biggest story in Israeli politics right now is Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's ongoing corruption trial. Netanyahu is facing charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust, and his trial began earlier this year. The proceedings have been delayed several times, but they are set to resume later this month. Netanyahu has denied any wrongdoing, and he has vowed to clear his name.

Meanwhile, the opposition parties are working on forming a unity government that would oust Netanyahu from power. However, those efforts have so far been unsuccessful. It remains to be seen whether a unity government will be formed before Netanyahu's trial resumes later this month.

Culture

The Tel Aviv Museum of Art is currently hosting an exhibition of works by renowned French artist Claude Monet. The exhibition includes more than 50 paintings by Monet, spanning his entire career. It is the largest exhibition of Monet's work ever held in Israel, and it has been attracting large crowds since it opened earlier this month. The exhibition will be on display until May 9th, so if you're in Tel Aviv, be sure to check it out!

Sports

The Israeli soccer team is getting ready for its next World Cup qualifier against Scotland on March 25th. Scotland is currently ranked higher than Israel in FIFA's world rankings, so it will be a tough match for the Israelis. However, with home-field advantage on their side, the Israelis will be looking to pull off an upset and take one step closer to qualifying for the World Cup for the first time in history.

That's all for the latest news from Israel! Be sure to check back soon for more updates on what's happening in the world's only Jewish state.

That's all the time we have today. Thanks for being with us and be sure to join us again tomorrow morning at 6:30am Eastern Time, here on Israel News Today. Have a great day! Good night!

It was a busy day in the Middle East where diplomatic efforts to end the crisis around North Korea are underway in Manila this week as one of President Trump's top advisors travels to South Korea before visiting Beijing later this week. Meanwhile, tensions between the Arabs and Iran continue to rise after it was reported that Tehran has been supplying weapons to terrorist groups in Iraq. And finally, Israeli leaders were quick to condemn yesterday's terrorist attack in Barcelona while terrorists in the Gaza Strip continue targeting IDF soldiers deployed along the border.

That's all for today. Thanks for being with us and be sure to join us again tomorrow at 6:30am Eastern Time, here on ISRAELI NEWS Today.
