Warcraft Logging in (May 3, 2006).

World of Warcraft can be an enjoyable game once you've got it running. However, it is not an easy game to begin playing. It requires enough gigabytes of disk space to partition my hard drive before playing it. Minecraft It also requires going to an outside-of-game website to enter the credit card number, even when the game offers a a free month of playing. After you have started you will need to go through two license agreements of some kind, and you aren't able to simply click a button -- you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom before the "Agree" button is enabled. World of Warcraft seemed to me to be a poor however, not terrible installation at this moment. The stunning graphics are justified by the large disk usage. Although the credit card number is a joke it's only ten minutes. License agreements are bad enough, but having two is especially absurd. Are those things really going to stand in the court? It turned out that I wasn't done yet. This was the time when updates began, which was the most difficult aspect of the Warcraft Login Challenge. Warcraft updates every couple of days. Since the box I bought was in storage for a while, you can see that I had quite a few updates in my queue! The program did not explain what was going on at all, so I thought for a while it was broken! Certain updates are massive and sometimes they flip you off Warcraft to an additional downloader program. When a download has been completed it will begin to install itself slowly! It will ask you to read the license agreement once more before it .... starts downloading more stuff. I thought it was the same file initially, but it seems that there were simply very many updates waiting for download. It was terrible that numerous updates were being sent out however it only made the situation even worse because I was unable to explain what was going on. After all that, I was able to play a little. Then, of the last three times I tried to get logged into the account, I was denied again! The first time was because their payment server had crashed. The second was because .... I don't know why. They have locked my account but haven't contacted me regarding the reason. It could be that my credit card is from the USA but I don't live in Switzerland. Warcraft is a fun game, but it sure isn't easy to actually play it. Perhaps I should have bought Everquest.
