Carre Rouge also has its particular characteristics that distinguish it from its relatives and makes it a high quality plant on its own. In contrast to Red Robin which gets its red growth in season of spring Carre Rouge gets a flash of red growth each year, and after each pruning the tips of the plant always remain red.
