Is there a free RuneScape Classic Account?

from web site

It is unlikely that anyone will ever give away their Runescape Classic account away, even the most generous of people. These accounts are very rare. The Runescape classic is currently only accessible to players on a trial basis or accounts created during the classic time period. Although, there is one exception. Members were able to become classic enabled in 2009, which grants them access to the classic version for life. It's a good thing, at least when you're a member.

The following is a quote from the Runescape site: "Only two types of account can play RuneScape Classic: those who played RuneScape Classic at least once from August 3rd 2005 to February 3rd, 2006 and those who participated during the open two-week period from November 11th to 25th November 2009. Apisanet You must have been an active member to have played RuneScape Classic during this period. "

Players who are classic enabled do not lose this feature. Players have access to the Classic Server if they have a membership. If your membership expires it won't be able to access Runescape Classic until you renew your membership.

This is the Runescape news for May 2010: "If your membership expires and you are no longer a member, you will not be able to log in to Classic until you are an active member." However, your account will remain "classic enabled" regardless of any membership lapses and you will not permanently lose access to Classic if you let your membership expire but it will be restored when you join again."
